Mahana Bay (Green Sand Beach)

Rt 11, take turn on S. Point Rd to South Point (narrow road for 11 miles). Before reaching South Point take a fork to the left.
Pay at the Green Sand parking or drive down to boat launch area. Leave your car open and empty so as to save a broken window. Walk 2.5 miles hot, dusty hike to beach from boat launch near South Point. Nude swimming early morning. No facilities. Bring water, hiking shoes, sunscreen, and sunhat. Olivine sand.
